Computer will not turn on.

Computer will not turn on. The computer IS getting power. The off and on button on front (it is a Dell) blinks amber but will not push in. There is a small green light inside the computer. The monitor is blank (black) and it is getting power as the power light (led light) is on. The computer HAS power to it yet it will NOT come on. No optical drives will open, etc. Need help troubleshooting.

Response from Build Your Own Computer: Try unplugging the computer and let it sit for 5 minutes, then replug and retry. Sounds like the problem is with the on/off button (stuck). When you push the button can you feel any movement (even if not going all the way in)?
