Hard Drive Replacement Issues

Hard Drive Replacement Issues: vertical lines of different colors. I replaced my hard drive and now when I power up everything goes on but my screen has these vertical lines that sometime pulse. There are different colors and they are not thin lines. I can not do anything. Please help.
